A third-generation noodle and boiled pork restaurant in Jinbu, Daegwanryeong-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, with deep roots as one of the area's most enduring establishments. The bibim makguksu features a mild, approachable seasoning that even spice-sensitive diners can enjoy, with soft, tender buckwheat noodles that have broad appeal. The dish starts on the lighter side of seasoning - adding a ladle or two of the accompanying bone broth brings it to full flavor, a structure that highlights the noodles' inherent depth. Pork suyuk is moist, slightly chewy, and completely free of off-flavors, pairing well with the side dishes; even the small order is generous enough for two people. Hanwoo (Korean beef) head suyuk is also available but frequently sells out early due to popularity. Dotori naengmyeon (acorn noodles) offers a bouncy, satisfying texture as a standalone menu highlight. From November through March, a seasonal specialty of baechu-dubu mandu - dumplings made solely with napa cabbage and tofu - is available, and its clean flavor makes it an excellent companion to the bibim makguksu.
