The menu consists of three options: basic mountain vegetable set, grilled mackerel set, and soy-marinated crab set, with even the basic set delivering a substantial lineup of diverse mountain vegetable banchan and main dishes. Each namul banchan retains its own distinctive natural aroma, seasoned with a light, clean touch that allows the inherent flavors of the ingredients to take center stage. The turmeric rice carries a subtle fragrance, and pouring hot water into the stone pot after finishing the rice creates a nurungji (scorched rice) course that provides a perfect meal conclusion. The grilled mackerel is cooked over a grate to achieve a crispy exterior with moist flesh inside, earning consistent recognition as a standout dish, while the seasoned grilled deodeok (mountain root) delivers an excellent balance between its distinctive aroma and the seasoning. The soy-marinated crab avoids excessive saltiness for easy enjoyment, and the dried pollack included in the basic set also maintains a high standard. Gamja-jeon (potato pancake) is available for an additional 4,000 won and receives positive taste assessments. The owner couple greets guests with cheerful warmth, and the universally appealing flavors satisfy a broad range of palates from discerning elderly diners to international visitors. Per-person pricing runs high even at the basic set level, and the vegetable-dominant composition means some diners perceive insufficient meat dishes for the cost, upgrading to the mackerel set or higher addresses this concern. Guests aged 10 and above must order one full serving per person.
