Located in Gangnam, I found this spot to be the perfect place for a hearty meal. They are famous for their Gopchang-jeongol (beef tripe hot pot). I paid 67,000 won for a medium size, which felt pricey until I saw the generous pile of tripe, mushrooms, and sweet cabbage boiling in the rich, savory broth. I finished the hot pot with their savory fried rice cooked with seaweed and sesame oil. If you prefer an individual bowl, I highly recommend the Naejangtang; the offal is meticulously cleaned and odor-free. You absolutely must try their homemade, crisp Kkakdugi radish kimchi. I waited about 10 minutes on a Sunday afternoon, but the fast turnover keeps things moving. I suggest arriving before 5:30 PM for dinner.
