Ihwa Chapssal Sundae 이화찹쌀순대

Even the basic sundae-guk here, a soup with blood sausage, has the spicy kick of a hangover soup, which sets it apart from the usual version. An eolkeun version goes hotter still. The glutinous-rice filling makes the sausage chewier than the common glass-noodle kind, and the broth is rich without any gamey smell, with plenty of meat and sausage. The napa cabbage kimchi and cubed radish kimchi on the side earn their own praise. The vegetable sundae platter sells out on some days.
