This is the family-run original branch in the Yonggung market lane, with several other branches nearby. Most tables carry sundae-gukbap side by side with ojingeo-bulbaek, squid grilled on a wire rack. The soup is hot, clean-smelling and generous with meat, and the squid carries a deep smoky char. Makchang-sundae, sausage in pork large intestine, keeps a porky smell that diners sensitive to it tend to leave alone. The grilled dishes can be taken away either cooked or as meal kits.
