The most striking feature is the price - a bowl of tteokbokki costs just 3,000 won, making it one of the best food values in the metropolitan area. The wheat rice cakes are wonderfully chewy, served in a broth-style sauce that looks deceptively mild but carries a well-balanced sweetness and savory depth reminiscent of a dashi-based stock. The menu includes rabokki, jjolbokki, and optional egg additions, along with simple and clean-tasting kimbap that pairs well with the spicy dishes. Dangmyeon sundae (glass noodle blood sausage) and jjolmyeon (chewy cold noodles) round out the offerings.
