Taehwagak is a decades-old Chinese-Korean restaurant in Mansu-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon, celebrated across local online communities as an unbeatable value destination. The hallmark of this establishment is its extraordinary set meal structure: ordering a single plate of tangsuyuk automatically brings complimentary jajangmyeon, mandu dumplings, and jjamppong broth to the table. Even the complimentary jajangmyeon arrives in portions that rival double servings at ordinary restaurants, making it a challenge for several adults to finish everything. The tangsuyuk set runs between 13,000 and 15,000 won, while individual noodle and rice dishes stay in the 3,000 to 5,000 won range, among the lowest prices found anywhere in the country. The owner personally takes orders at each table, and patrons are expected to wait patiently rather than approaching the kitchen. The interior retains the unvarnished character of a classic neighborhood Chinese eatery with minimal modern renovation. Cash or bank transfer is the preferred payment method, so visitors should come prepared. A group of three to four diners sharing a single set is the most practical approach to managing the generous portions.
