The Pyongyang naengmyeon broth is mild and cool with a beef aroma running through it, and the buckwheat noodles bite through without scissors. Bibim naengmyeon, sweet, sour and spicy, gets hotter the further you go. Plenty of regulars come back for the galbitang as much as for the cold noodles, and the bowl is generous. The bulgogi is lightly marinated, neither salty nor sweet.
