Changbawi Sikdang 창바위식당

The Ulsanbawi ridge of Seoraksan fills the big windows, and from the window tables it rises just beyond the pot. Neungi-beoseot baeksuk simmers a whole native chicken or duck with ginseng, neungi mushrooms and chives for a long time; book ahead for your arrival time and it reaches the table soon after you sit down. When the meat is gone, mung bean porridge follows. The dakdoritang looks fiery, but its red sauce is milder and sweeter than expected.
