The breading is gentle and refined rather than coarse, and the generous marbling delivers exceptional juiciness. However, the fat content is substantial enough that richness builds quickly, diners who are sensitive to heaviness should consider the hire-katsu (12,500 won) instead, which achieves remarkable tenderness without the fat, offering a clean and elegant alternative. The corn soup served before the main course blends corn sweetness with consomme savory notes in a masterful sweet-salty balance. Rice and cabbage refills are unlimited, providing natural palate relief throughout the meal.
