Tongnamujip 통나무집

A wood fire burns at one end of the big log-cabin room, and in winter the seats near it are the warmest in the house. Of the hanwoo cuts, buchaesal (top blade) and eopjinsal (brisket plate) are tender enough to melt. The mul-naengmyeon broth has an unusually strong pear flavor, and the sagol ugeoji haejangguk is generous with beef but salty. A ramp at the entrance makes it easy to come in with a wheelchair or stroller.
