There are two ways to eat beef here: pick cuts at the butcher counter in the ground-floor Hanaro Mart, pay first and grill them over charcoal upstairs, or order a course on the second floor. The counter's cuts come in packs of about 200 g, which makes it easy to buy a little anchangsal (outside skirt), eopjinsal (brisket plate) and salchisal (chuck flap) to compare. Courses are pricey, and anyone not grilling eats hanwoo galbitang, a beef rib soup, in a separate dining hall.
