Samjeong is a dry-aged Hanwoo beef specialist in Dunnae-myeon, Hoengseong-gun, Gangwon Province. Established in 1985 and now operated by its second-generation owner, the restaurant has earned a nationwide reputation, appearing consistently in the Blue Ribbon Survey as one of Hoengseong's premier beef destinations. The kitchen dry-ages its beef for a minimum of three to six weeks, a process that concentrates the natural beefy aroma and produces a nutty, cheese-like richness along with exceptionally tender texture. Key offerings include aged sirloin (approximately 55,000 to 60,000 KRW per 150 g), aged tenderloin (around 60,000 to 65,000 KRW), and specialty cuts such as salchisal and chimasal (65,000 KRW and above), with raw beef tartare (yukhoe) also regarded as a standout side. Trained staff grill the meat tableside to optimal doneness, allowing guests to focus entirely on the meal. The interior follows a refined hanok-inspired aesthetic suited to family gatherings and formal occasions. A generous private parking area sits in front of the building.
