Pork jumulleok goes onto the hot plate first, and the hanchi (mitre squid) jumulleok is added later so it stays tender. The sauce looks red but tastes more sweet and salty than hot, and hanchi is softer than ordinary squid. Wrap bites in perilla leaves or set them on sticky white rice, then turn the leftover sauce into fried rice or toss in somyeon noodles. Solo diners are served too.
