Sujeong Sikdang 수정식당

Jeyuk bokkeum, spicy marinated pork, is stir-fried over a flame and arrives sizzling on a foil-lined stone plate as the centerpiece of the ssambap lettuce-wrap set at this old Jongno lunch spot, with lettuce, perilla, napa cabbage and chicory alongside. On its own the pork tastes strongly seasoned, but it evens out once wrapped or mixed into rice.
