This large bakery cafe sits near the entrance to Gwangmyeong Cave, but the real decision inside is which salt bread to pick: there are more than fifteen. The classic has a thin crust that cracks before a buttery, chewy center, and myeongnan salt bread, made with salted pollock roe, has a savory edge that goes well with coffee. Basil cave salt bread is herby and hollow inside, as the name suggests. Everything is baked on site, and bakers can be seen shaping dough behind a glass wall.
