Next to it sit tong-danpatbang with beans only, the mammoth bread layered thick between two slices and a mini version of the same, chestnut bread studded with chestnut pieces, chapssaltteok rice cakes and salt butter rolls. When it is busy, the checkout line stretches and the aisles between the shelves get tight. Many items are heavy for their size, and prices stay modest for the portion.
