Samdado Abalone Juk 삼다도전복죽

Abalone flesh and innards simmer together in the jeonbok-juk (abalone porridge), which arrives thick, nutty and hot enough to blow on. Jeonbok mulhoe, abalone in a cold, sweet-sour spicy broth, comes with a choice of rice or noodles; the noodles are chewy naengmyeon-style strands rather than thin somen, and they suit the broth. Among the side dishes, seasoned spinach and salted abalone jeotgal stand out, the latter best over rice.
