The fried flounder that comes out as a free extra is as memorable as anything on the main menu. Side dishes like hijiki, broccoli salad and stir-fried anchovies can be refilled at a self-serve corner, and with the sea just across the road, the dining room windows look out over Jeju's east coast. Abalone porridge and the abalone hot pot are very lightly seasoned. Jeonbok dolsotbap, abalone rice in a stone pot, forms a crust at the bottom, and the grilled abalone is finished with butter and garlic.
