Near Insadong. A shabu-shabu and sukiyaki restaurant set in a renovated hanok along the Ikseon-dong alley in Jongno-gu, where rising steam creates an atmospheric dining scene. The signature Oncheonjip gom-shabu arrives in a stacked lunchbox-style tray with neatly arranged meat and vegetables, and diners can choose from multiple broth options including polar bear broth, mushroom broth, and spicy broth. Minari yukjeon (pan-fried beef with water parsley) is a must-order side - crispy yet light, with fragrant minari balancing the richness. Four dipping sauces offer flavor variety throughout the meal, and the finishing kalguksu absorbs the concentrated broth for a deeply satisfying close.
