This kalguksu and dumpling specialist near Gwacheon's Gwanmun intersection consistently draws crowds with its outstanding value. The bone broth kalguksu is rich yet clean, avoiding excess oiliness, and the house-made noodles carry a pleasant wheat fragrance with satisfying chewiness. The yukgaejang kalguksu runs on the spicy side, making it an excellent hangover remedy with generous shredded beef throughout. The real star, however, is the steamed mandu, with wrappers so thin they practically dissolve on your tongue, releasing a burst of savory filling and juices that creates a uniquely delicate eating experience.
