Jangsumul Sikdang is a pork-noodle restaurant in Yeondong, Jeju City, focused on Jeju gogi-guksu and dombe-gogi. It has been described as operating for twenty-six years and appeared on the television program Baek Jong-won's Three Great Emperors. The noodle soup uses a pork-bone base without a strong animal odor or excessively greasy finish. Mild savor and nuttiness lead the broth, while a small amount of chile seasoning and black pepper adds a sharper aroma at the end. Medium-width wheat noodles are thicker than somyeon. They are cooked toward a soft, broth-soaked texture rather than a highly elastic bite.
