Even a regular bowl comes piled so high with noodles that most appetites can't finish it, and average eaters can ask for a smaller portion. Janchi-guksu, noodles in a strong anchovy broth topped only with seaweed flakes, is plain on purpose: taste the broth first, then add the green-onion sauce on the table bit by bit. Bibim-guksu coats the noodles in a sweet-and-tart red sauce, and in summer there is a thick, cold black-sesame and black-bean kongguksu. Pay at the kiosk by the door, hand the receipt to staff and sit down. Food comes fast and tables turn over quickly. As of 2024-03, both janchi and bibim noodles cost 7,000 won.
