Gohyang Makguksu 고향막국수

A mother cooks and her daughter runs the floor. The makguksu broth comes separately in a full bowl, and the nutty buckwheat noodles also work wrapped in kimchi or radish salad. The boiled pork is cut thick with seasoning soaked through, closer in texture to jokbal, braised pig's trotters. On a day when noodles don't appeal, there is red snow crab bibimbap.
