Gebang Sikdang 게방식당

White walls and nothing but high-top tables make this Apgujeong side-street room look more like a brunch cafe than a marinated-crab house. Ganjang-gejang, raw crab cured in soy, is seasoned gently rather than salty, and each order is a whole crab full to the tips of its legs. The leftover soy alone is worth mixing into rice. The spicy yangnyeom-gejang has a strong, hot sauce that covers the crab's flavor. Gejang bibimbap and soy-marinated shrimp make lighter lunch plates. Side dishes are refilled except the salad, and same-day reservations go through Naver.
