Yun Sikdang Bibim Guksu 윤식당 비빔국수

A noodle shop in Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do, near Sanjeong Lake, ideal for a meal during a countryside outing. The bibim guksu is tossed in a sweet-tangy-spicy sauce topped with sprouts for crunch, and free upsizing is available. Janchi guksu comes in a rich broth piled with garnishes. The hidden star is the gimbap, made with a unique technique of stir-frying carrots into the seasoned rice, producing deeper flavor than typical rolls - though it is only available as a side when ordering noodles. Bean sprout salad is excellent, and chocolate treats are offered for dessert on a help-yourself basis. The interior is decorated with owl figurines. The shop may close early when ingredients run out.
