A multi-generational noodle house in Naechon-myeon, Pocheon, specializing in North Korean-style kimchi-mari guksu - cold noodles served in an icy dongchimi (radish water kimchi) broth. Located near Bears Town ski resort, it draws especially large crowds during ski season and offers one of the rare opportunities near Seoul to experience authentic North Korean cold noodle culture. The signature kimchi-mari guksu features springy noodles submerged in a dongchimi broth with floating ice shards - refreshingly clean with a subtle tangy bite that cools from the first slurp. A bibim-guksu (spicy mixed noodle) option exists but runs on the aggressive side, so the cold dongchimi version is the recommended choice for appreciating the restaurant's true character. The mung bean pancake (nokdu-jeon) is thick-cut and pan-fried until impressively crispy - an essential companion order - and the meat mandu pairs exceptionally well with the cold noodles. Gomtang (bone broth soup) and warm noodles are available as alternatives for those who find cold dishes challenging. Operating hours end at 2:30 PM, making pre-visit time checks essential. During peak lunch hours, parking gets tight and waits can build. A 10% discount is offered to military personnel, firefighters, and police officers.
