Na Yeo-im, named one of the 2021 Ten People Who Brightened Korea, runs the kitchen at this home-style Korean restaurant down a side street off Gangnam-daero in Yeoksam-dong. The tongsamgyeop kimchi jjim braises a whole slab of pork belly with kimchi, and a rolled omelet sometimes comes alongside. Ask for a second bowl of the eolgari doenjang soup, made with young napa cabbage, that accompanies the bibimbap; the mushroom hot pot, beoseot jeongol, has a similarly deep broth. Lunch specials change by the day of the week, among bulgogi hot pot, jeyuk ssambap, webfoot octopus with pork belly and spicy braised short ribs. After the lunch rush, only bibimbap may remain.
