Behind a European-style facade sits a familiar neighborhood bakery that has operated in Yeonhui-dong since 1978. The range runs from red-bean buns and soboro streusel buns to hard breads, ciabatta and sandwiches. Salt bread (sogeumppang) bakes to a firm crust over a soft, buttery crumb, and brushing off a little of the salt on top keeps it from tasting too sharp. The best-known item, agi-gungdungi-ppang or baby bottom bun, is filled with cream cheese. The main shop leans more toward traditional breads than its branch inside Saruga Mart. By evening the shelves run low.
