Manong baguette, the house garlic bread, is soaked in butter and garlic and spread with a thick, sweet-salty sauce. Straight from the oven it is soft inside and loud with garlic; as it cools the sauce clings to the bread and the crust firms up into a chew. Ask at the counter and staff will warm a cooled loaf, which brings the aroma back. The walnut red-bean bread has crisp walnuts between layers of sweet bean paste, and there is a less sweet ciabatta too.
