Jeju Sanghoe 제주상회

Down a flight of narrow, steep stairs on Sharosu-gil near Nakseongdae Station, this basement shop has served Jeju-style gogi-guksu for over 10 years. The pork-bone broth is clean and light, and the tender, thick-cut pork outweighs the noodles in the bowl. Bibim-guksu comes in a tangy sauce. Banchan are just buchu chives dressed with a little fish sauce and pickled onions.
