하얀풍차 망포역점
Hayan Pungcha Mangpoyeok is a franchise bakery on the first floor of Golden Square, a two-minute walk from Exit 3 of Mangpo Station in Yeongtong-gu, Suwon. Founded in 1993, this bakery has maintained over three decades of operation built on the principle of using fruit-based natural fermentation starters cultivated daily in-house, with no chemical additives in the baking process. The signature White Roll features a soft cream filling beneath a dusting of castella crumbs, producing a mochi-like chewiness on the first bite that distinguishes it from typical bakery rolls. The Cheese Baguette is equally celebrated, with thick cheddar cheese melted into the bread to create a moist interior and a deep, rich cheese flavor. It sells out frequently after work hours because local mothers routinely purchase three to four pieces during the daytime. The Onion Cheese Roll combines smooth cheese with an interior sauce that appeals broadly across all demographics, while the Mont Blanc pairs an outward sweetness with an inner moistness that complements coffee well. Although the shop is not large, the bread display is efficiently arranged, and a small seating area allows customers to eat on the premises. At checkout, staff ask whether to slice the White Roll, and requesting a cut for easier eating is recommended. The Maetan branch originally served as the main location, but the Mangpo branch currently operates as the most active outlet in the chain.
