Gojip Whole Muneo Kalguksu 고집통문어칼국수

In the tongmuneo haemul kalguksu, a whole, uncut octopus sits on top of the pot with abalone and clams. The seafood is lifted out and shared first, then the noodles cook in that broth, and they hold up without going soft even over a long meal. For the gapojingeo bulgogi, large pieces of cuttlefish are stir-fried in a spicy sauce until smoky, and the leftover sauce gets mixed into rice. Even the basic seaweed soup has squid legs in it.
