Duruduru 두루두루

Gaekjuri jorim is filefish, which Jeju calls gaekjuri, braised in a sweet-spicy soy sauce; the lean, chewy flesh takes the sauce all the way through, and it works better with rice than with drinks. The same fish is also served thinly sliced as raw hoe. Braised rockfish and grilled hairtail are on the menu too, and meals come with side dishes and doenjang-jjigae, soybean paste stew.
