Danpungnamujip 단풍나무집

Cheongyeop, the signature, is pork jowl laced with layers of fat; on the coals its edges crisp while the center stays springy. Yangnyeom dwaeji galbi, soy-marinated pork ribs, tastes clean and is not overly fatty, and the grilled meat is wrapped in soy-pickled perilla leaves. The Itaewon branch opened in 2009, and its large wood-beamed room holds rows of charcoal tables.
