Daegwallyeong Gamja Ongsimi 대관령감자옹심이

Eat the ongsimi in its clear broth as it comes, then stir in the dadaegi chili paste halfway and it turns into a different dish entirely. The dumplings are made from potato grated in-house and are pleasantly chewy; sun-ongsimi, dumplings only, is a generous bowl, and ongkal mixes in knife-cut noodles. Yongpyong Resort and Alpensia are close, so lines get long in ski season and on weekends. Potato pancakes and buckwheat crepe rolls can be packed to go.
