Only one meat appears on the menu, hanwoo saeng-deungsim (fresh sirloin), and the sides stop at radish kimchi, raw cabbage and scallion salad. Lift the thin slices off the iron plate as soon as the surface colors, because longer cooking turns them tough. Save a few pieces for the end: kkakdugi-bokkeum-bap is fried with chopped leftover beef, mixing the kimchi's tang with the beef fat. The restaurant fills floors one to three of the Daedo Building and offers valet parking, but ventilation is weak and grill smoke clings to clothes.
