Through the eighth-floor windows of the Gueup ferry terminal building, the sea off Yeongjong and its islands fill the view, and every window seat is a low platform where you sit shoeless. Those platforms suit pairs rather than groups. Leaf tea comes with hot-water refills for several steepings, plus tea snacks such as red-bean butter monaka and walnut-stuffed dried persimmon. Hojicha silk-thread bingsu stacks fine strands of roasted-tea ice, and chestnut ice cream is served separately. A fish market occupies the ground floor. The underground garage is small and awkward to enter, and the public lot about a five-minute walk away is the easier option.
