Abai Hoeguksu 아바이회국수

Abai Hoeguksu has served raw fish noodles and rice bowls near Sokcho Port since the early 2000s. The signature raw fish noodles feature fish tossed in a spicy-sweet dressing, often occupying more than half of the bowl. For the raw fish rice bowl, the owner frequently suggests menu adjustments based on group size, ensuring the rice is topped with plenty of seasoned fish. Diners should be careful as sekoshi naturally contains fine bones. Many regulars also order the Abai sundae, served with dried radish and pickled radish. Located at 115-12 Cheongho-ro, Sokcho-si, the restaurant maintains the modest atmosphere of a harbor eatery. Because of limited seating, guests write their names on a waiting list at the entrance. Since staff may call 15 minutes before the expected time, staying nearby is practical. The restaurant has kept its quality consistent since its early days.
