Order sundae gukbap here and the bowl comes with no sundae in it, only a generous load of pork and offal. The blood sausage is a separate order, and one diner suspects it was left out on purpose because rich pi-sundae clashes with the broth. Rice can arrive toryeom style, with hot broth poured over and drained off several times, or on the side; the red broth turns out peppery rather than fiery.
