Yugane Wonjo Yangpyeong Haejangguk 유가네 원조 양평해장국

A Yangpyeong-style hangover soup restaurant in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do, with generous servings that nearly overflow the stone pot. The soup is loaded with ox blood curd, dried cabbage, intestines, and bean sprouts, simmered into a rich yet clean broth with a subtle chili oil kick. Adding chopped chili peppers deepens the flavor. The blood curd is fresh and chewy without any off-taste. Kimchi and kkakdugi are available at a self-serve bar. Takeout portions are nearly double the dine-in size, making it an excellent value. Staff are energetic and friendly.
