A Chinese restaurant in Hoehyeon-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, with bokkeumjjamppong (stir-fried spicy noodle soup) as its signature. The dish is notably spicy - roughly three times the heat of Shin Ramyun - yet the sweetness that follows creates an addictive balance, and the heat fades cleanly. The chewy glutinous rice tangsuyuk pairs crispy batter with moist pork and tangy sauce. Yuringi (Chinese-style fried chicken) is another highlight. Jjajangmyeon complements the spicier dishes well, and a large serving costs just 10,000 won. Service is friendly and fast, but evening waits are common, so arriving around 5 PM is advised.
