Five-spice pork trotters share the menu with Chinese dishes at this plain neighborhood restaurant in Garak-dong, and the trotters are sold only at dinner. They are simmered long like dongpo pork, low in fat and silky, and turn firmer and chewier when chilled overnight as takeout. The jjamppong, a spicy noodle soup, has strong wok smoke and a mix of seafood and meat.
