미강식당
Migang Sikdang is a samgyeopsal (pork belly) restaurant on Baekje-gobun-ro in Songpa-gu, Seoul, holding a 4.8 rating and established as one of Jamsil's premier grilled meat destinations. The restaurant's defining feature is its charcoal pre-grilling system, in which staff grill the meat on real charcoal in a separate area before bringing it to the table, resulting in a deep smoky flavor infused into every cut. Set menus include thick-cut samgyeopsal, juicy moksal (pork neck), chewy hangjeongsal (jowl), and crispy pork skin, with the three-person set (600g) priced at 86,000 won. The four-person set is widely regarded as offering strong value relative to the portion and variety. Over ten types of fresh ssam greens are provided, ensuring a clean eating experience throughout the meal, and the house-made ssamjang converts even those who normally skip it into willing dippers. Among the side dishes, the cheese-bomb egg custard is refillable and considered essential to order, while the wang-galbi doenjang jjigalyi contains a whole king-rib bone cooked to melt-in-the-mouth tenderness. Both mul-naengmyeon and bibim-naengmyeon work well as meal finishers, and the suhyangmi rice offers a firm, glossy texture that complements the grilled meats. The front area features a soft-serve ice cream machine, juice bar, and arcade games, providing post-meal entertainment for children. Naver reservations are available, and booking ahead ensures that greens and sauces are pre-set at the table for immediate dining. Round tables are also available, making the venue suitable for company dinners and larger gatherings.
