Instead of a red chili broth, this sogogi haejangguk (beef hangover soup) comes in a slightly cloudy stock with a faint herbal note, loaded with big chunks of beef and cabbage greens. Seonji, coagulated beef blood, is served in its own bowl, so it can go in or stay out, and seonji, greens and broth are all refilled. Dadaegi chili paste is added to taste, and the radish kimchi and shredded radish stay mild enough not to fight the broth. This is a directly run branch of Yuchi Hoegwan, which began in Suwon's Ingye-dong, and children under 10 can have a small kids' broth sold separately.
