The chamsut pork ribs arrive already seared over charcoal, and ordering them brings rice plus either snail-studded doenjang stew or cold naengmyeon at no extra charge; the stew is full of vegetables and river snails. The side dishes take real knife work: green peppers in the japchae are pared thin, and the soy-marinated crab comes with even the claws cut open. Choose duruchigi pork stir-fry instead of grilled meat and it arrives with pot rice cooked with millet, and the scorched-rice water at the end tastes clean, a little like hutgae tea. At busy times, though, complaints have come up more than once about uneven service, with staff grilling for one table and leaving another with raw meat on the grill.
