빵과 당신

I had salt bread, walnut pie, and coffee at this large bakery cafe along a main road in Pyeongtaek. The place is run by a certified master baker, and while the bread shapes are a bit rustic, the flavor is undeniable. The salt bread is rich and fragrant, and the walnut pie comes in a six-pack for gifting. The coffee leans nutty rather than acidic, and ordering one gets you a complimentary cookie. You have to walk through the ground-floor bakery to reach the cafe, so the shared counter area for both bakery purchases and drink orders can get congested. An elevator runs up to the third floor: the second floor has floor-seating suitable for families with small children, and the third floor is separated as an adults-only space. The parking lot is spacious and the roadside location makes it easy to find. Early morning opening makes it a great stop for bread and coffee to start the day.
