Miss Jin Hamburger Songtan Bonjeom 미스진햄버거 송탄본점

Since 1985 this shop across from the main gate of the US base in Songtan has been grilling old-style Korean burgers. The street outside is lined with English signs, but inside it feels like a neighborhood snack bar, with boxes of supplies stacked to one side. The burgers are built rough: a thick patty, egg, cabbage and a ketchup-mayo sauce. One steak cheese burger, bulgogi cheese burger or Special B is enough to carry you through the day, with hot dogs, fries and Dr Pepper on the side.
