Staff grill every piece for you, from the first slice until you are about to leave, and top up sauces and side dishes without being asked. The signature is usamgyeop, thin-sliced beef brisket, served with a house sauce and shredded green onion; wrapping it with the scallion salad and a green chili adds heat. The meat list stops at three, usamgyeop, pork belly and wagyu, and the sides are just as pared down. When wagyu goes on the grill, staff explain the cut, and wasabi comes on request. Naengmyeon, cold buckwheat noodles, or a bubbling doenjang stew rounds off the meal. Walk-ins can get in even at dinner, but the room fills up soon after. The shop has held the same spot near Yeongdeungpo Station for more than 7 years.
