산아래 석갈비
Sanarae Seokgalbi is a pork stone-grilled galbi restaurant on Geumbong-ro in Baegun-myeon, Jecheon, Chungcheongbuk-do, popular with travelers visiting the nearby Resom Forest resort. Despite its remote location, the restaurant fills to near capacity during lunch, making pre-noon arrival advisable. The signature don-seokgalbi consists of pork ribs lightly seasoned with soy-based marinade, served sizzling on a heated stone plate alongside onions. The meat arrives fully cooked, ready to eat without any tableside preparation. The spicy deunggalbi (back ribs) packs considerable heat, but mixing rice into the seasoned broth at the bottom reveals an intensely savory flavor. This item can be ordered by the single portion, making it easy to sample alongside the standard galbi. The don-seokgalbi, however, requires ordering one portion per diner, and a complimentary buchujeon (cabbage pancake) accompanies orders of three or more servings. Rice must be ordered separately, and choosing gondeure-bap allows diners to enjoy a Jecheon regional specialty. The wooreong doenjang-jjigae, a soybean paste stew with freshwater snails, is hearty and pairs well as a closing dish. A self-service bar offers raw garlic, extra banchan, and condiments — grilling the raw garlic directly on the hot plate alongside the meat is a local favorite technique. Finishing with yeolmu cold noodles after the meat is another recommended choice. The parking lot is spacious, and prices sit around the 19,000-won range, reasonable for the resort area.
